Dakota Ritter is a Texas based red dirt artist, originally from Jefferson, Texas that debuted his career in 2016. After touring regionally throughout the years, in 2019, Ritter released his first top 40 Texas radio single, ‘Take My Ring.’ gaining him real recognition in the Texas music scene. Ritter followed up his 2019 single release, with his 2019 Album ‘No Stone Unturned.’ Ritter went on to release the EP ‘Volume 1’ in 2020, with three singles such as ‘Stars over San Antone’ ‘Shoot Your Shot’ and ‘The Bottle’ all appearing off the EP, achieving his first number 1 Texas Radio single with ‘The Bottle.’ since 2020, Ritter has opened and toured with numerous artists such as, Mike Ryan, Randall King, Josh Ward, Randy Rogers, Jon Wolfe, Chris Colston, Dylan Wheeler and many, many more through out his career. On September 1st, 2023, Ritter released his first studio album in 4 years, titled “Cocaine, Cabernet & a Rose Tattoo” which debuted #10 on the iTunes Top 100 Country Albums chart. The album included multiple single’s released earlier in 2023, including the staple “Ballad of a Broken Woman” as well as, “Burning House” “Roll The Dice” & “Could’ve Fooled Me.” The album displays a new, fresh and defining sound, with high energy, break up anthems, reflective love songs and the defining roots of red dirt country. Ritter is represented by Smith Music Management.
